Why Men Love Bitches Book Review

WHY MEN LOVE BITCHES:
THE BOOK REVIEW
This is a review that has taken time and glad to say that it is finally done. To start us off I will quote Judy Mazel’s review,” Smart, witty, and right on, a must-read for any woman who wants to capture her man’s interest.”
Mmmmh hmmmm now I got the ladies attention and the guys who are too skeptical to believe that their secrets have been uncovered.
For my regular readers you can recall I did a review on Steve Harvey’s “Think like a man, act like a lady.” This is in the same genre but with a lady (Sherry Argov) doing the enlightening.
The author describes the book as a relationship guide to women who are too nice and emphasizes that the use of the word bitch is to mean a woman who is kind yet strong. This is contrary to the initial concept of the abrasive lady who is not at all likeable.
Humor is the underlying tone in the whole book and
I must say it is as witty as they come. She goes through the book guiding ladies how to captivate and sustain a man’s attention. She gives’ principles’ on how to behave in various case scenarios that are the norm in relationships.
She tries to guide women from going from the ‘doormat’ that gets no appreciation to the ‘dream girl’ who has the man’s ultimate attention. The major highlights of the book are how to move from seemingly needy to dignified and the importance of self esteem. She enforces her message with short stories from the various people she interviewed for her book. (Real names withheld)
What I liked most is how she leaves room for one to choose what to take and what to leave out. She also uses a lot of quotes from historical and present admirable figures.
Similar to Steve Harvey she does encourage not going the whole nine yards with a man while still new in the relationship.
More so she highlights the importance of a man’s ego and how to be-friend it to get one’s way. Also key in her book is how much men love the thrill of the chase and how inborn is their instinct to be hunters.
Needless to say that the book may be termed as controversial but I would say that it is a good one to unwind with.

Rating: 8/10
