Lesson
No. 1: Live one day at a time.
Too many times we waste so much time worrying and the worst
part is we worry mostly what is beyond us. We panic about so many trivial
things bordering on vanity and it drains us and tires our brains. We should
spend more time smiling and appreciating the good things in life.
Lesson
No. 2: Treasure meaningful relationships.
Life is a journey and as we go along we get to meet people who
impact us in one way or another. No matter the outcome, good or bad there is
always a lesson to be learnt. It is important to hold on to the meaningful
relationships that add value and make you a better person.
Lesson
No. 3: Try something new every once in a while.
Fear of the unknown has gained too much recognition over time
and it should not stop you from trying something. It does not have to be a
complete overhaul just any little twist from the norm can be good for you. You can
try out a new cuisine, a new trend in fashion or even learn a new language.
Lesson
No. 4: Strive to do the best in all you do.
You should give all you
do your best shot because when it’s all said and done, all that really matters
is the end result. No one really cares much for how much effort was put in if
you leave something halfway done. And let’s not forget that hard work pays and
nothing is sweeter than the result of your own sweat.
Lesson
No. 5: Learn from mistakes and remember the lessons.
This is one of the most cliché phrases we might have heard of
growing up but quite honestly we find ourselves guilty of repeating the same
mistakes. This is because we tend to forget the lessons behind the mistakes. It’s
about time we stop this destructive behavior before we get caught up in a
sticky situation.
Lesson
No. 6: Take risks!
Life is indeed short and more so we only live once and it is
good to take risks while you are young. Now I am talking uncalculated, unthought-of,
impulsive risks don’t get me wrong. When I say risk, I mean something you are
not 100% sure about but have a high probability of high yields. Most entrepreneurs
have made it big by taking risks. I’m just saying!
