As
I sit on my computer today morning at work, I doubt I am anywhere near employee
of the year award. For all the sisters out there you know it is the 15 seconds
of fame in the high pressured corporate environment. I am 'getting fired up for
the day' catching up on celebrity news. Don't judge me, we are different you
know hehe.
Back
to the contents of my computer screen I am sighing at a picture of Fally Ipupa,
number 6 on Top Ten Richest African Musicians. Hmmmm…. That gorgeous intense
glare on that particular picture made me gag, not too proud but damn what's a
girl to do? Let me share that particular picture, maybe then you will see where
I'm coming from.
Now
that I think about it may be sharing this picture was not one of my wisest
ideas… first things first it is very, very distracting. But oh well, I shall
overcome. Oh and if my boyfriend reads this, honey we are good, I'm just
appreciating God's handy works! Now that
I am on the topic of rich African men I can't help but wonder, does a man being
wealthy make him more alluring to girls? And if so , why? Now that is a story
for another day. So gentlemen you can stop rolling your eyes at me please.
Anyway,
back to the events of the day, currently at work things haven't picked up so
still have a lot of free time as it is. With the internet connection taking
it's sweet time to be up and running I'm typing this article away.
My
main interest with the internet today is Brighter Monday whereby I am set to
apply for a couple of jobs. Now before you send the well wishes, I am actually
applying for them on behalf of my boyfriend, Mark. Yes I did just say that and
to my delight , today on my way to work, I stumbled into a friend and guess
what she does the same thing! Shout out to all the ladies holding it down for
their men! We should form a club or something hehe. Talk about elaborate use of
company resources!
Well
that aside, I have realized I am falling back into my old habits and let's just
say I am not too proud. Well let me come out with it. I have gone back to reading romance novels and
well now I just can't seem to stop. Blame it on my hormones but in as much as I
know its all fantasy I just can't help it. Now for you giving that mischievous
look, I know what you’re thinking and my defense is I am actually interested in
the love story. As for the generous authors that throw in a steamy scene or two
in the books, readers that is just a by the way.
Well
the internet has finally caught on so toddles got to go and face my very busy
day ahead! ;-)

DeleteHey Jajey nice piece, oh. for those who did not know that's her pet name since she was a few months old. But now when do you get to work and read as that is your core business? don't get discouraged by the concern you know I am just being a concerned mum but also proud that all the school fees went to better use. Keep up and will continue following even if just to ensure bad habits don't ruin good morals. You know that is what mums are good for... did I say it policing...
